Sustainability Training - Cranmore Park - PART ONE

In collaboration with Green Circle Solutions, ESSA is pleased to announce we are holding a series of regional sustainability training days in 2024.

This session is PART ONE, an introduction to sustainability for events and exhibitions carbon footprint calculation and carbon mitigation strategies. PART TWO of this training day will be focused around the lessons learnt in part one and how companies have used these new skills. 

Thank you to our venue partner Cranmore Park who are kindly providing their hosting services to ESSA for the training day. 

We will be organising more sessions as the year goes on particularly around London & the West Midlands

PART ONE COURSE CONTENT

• General sustainability awareness; background theory, terminology, and why should we engage?

• What does sustainability mean for the Events and Exhibitions Industry?

• Introduction to “the language of carbon”

• Introduction to carbon footprint calculation

• Outputs and reporting results including an introduction to the ESSA Sustainability Module

• Developing carbon mitigation strategies and action plans specific to your business and organisation
