Sustainability Training - Coventry

In collaboration with Green Circle Solutions, ESSA is pleased to announce we are holding a series of regional sustainability training days in 2024.

In 2023 we successfully ran seven courses with very positive feedback from those attending. 

Thank you to our venue partners Manchester Central & Coventry Building Society Arena who are kindly providing their hosting services to ESSA for the training days. 

We will be organising more sessions as the year goes on particularly around London & the West Midlands

COURSE CONTENT

The course content is CPD Certified and will count as a 1 full day of Continuing Professional Development.

• General sustainability awareness; background theory, terminology, and why should we engage?

• What does sustainability mean for the Events and Exhibitions Industry?

• Introduction to “the language of carbon”

• Introduction to carbon footprint calculation

• Outputs and reporting results including an introduction to the ESSA Sustainability Module

• Developing carbon mitigation strategies and action plans specific to your business and organisation
